It’s a belated celebration with Birthday Cake Golden Oreos
Oreo turned 113 years old this week, bringing an old favorite back for the party.
The Oreo cookie — arguably a more American cookie than even the humble chocolate chip — celebrated its 113th birthday this past Thursday. I have to apologize to Snackology readers for not commemorating the holiday, but I’m going to hopefully make up for it with my latest find: Oreo Golden Birthday Cake cookies.
While the standard chocolate variety of Birthday Cake Oreos are always on shelves, the golden cookie version has been missing for over a decade.
Are the Birthday Cake Golden Oreos worth that long of a wait? Are they an appropriate way to celebrate Oreo’s 113th birthday? What do you get for the cookie that has everything?
